84.3 – Compulsory social security activities

This class includes: - funding and administration of government-provided social security programmes, e.g.: • sickness, work-accident and unemployment insurance • retirement pensions • covering losses of income due to parental leave, temporary disablement, widowhood / loss of partner · This class excludes: - complementary or supplementary health insurance, see 65.12 - provision of retirement income benefits exclusively for the sponsor’s employees or members, see 65.30 - administration of healthcare and social services, see 84.12 - provision of residential care assistance services, see division 87 - provision of welfare services and social work (without accommodation), see 88.10, 88.99
